The Southern Bug
The Southern Bug flows through Vinnitsa. Bratslav is further south on the same river. I couldn’t help thinking about how more beautiful the architecture on the banks of the river was in Budapest, where the Danube flows through the city. But Vinnitsa was badly damaged during the war, and has a grim history in relation to the Jewish population.
